One very special day in Singapore, a wonderful thing happened in the lives of
Jane and Ben. Do you know what it was?
A very special little boy named Luke Ang was born. Everyone at
Mount Alvernia Hospital was very excited. The whole
of Singapore had been anxiously awaiting his arrival.
When Topper Turtle heard the news, he gathered everyone together. He declared 12, October 2001, to be a very special birthday for Luke and an occasion that should be celebrated on the same day every year!

Dr. Lim Yuin Wen in delivering Luke into the world at
8.43pm.
"You're a fine baby boy," said Dr. Lim Yuin Wen. "I know your mommy and daddy are proud to have the cutest baby in the world."
Squeaky Squirrel and Bouncer the Bunny weighed and measured little Luke, who was 3.3kg, and 53cm long at birth.
Mommy and Daddy had wanted to have a baby exactly like Luke. Their very special delivery had made this one of the happiest days of their lives.
In fact, Luke seemed to make everyone happy. Even gruff old Grumbly Gopher had to chuckle when Luke made cute little baby faces.
Soon, the news of Luke's birth spread far and wide. It seemed everyone in Singapore was thrilled to hear about Luke's arrival. When Mrs. Churchmouse heard the news, she became so excited that she fell off of her chair and spilled her tea!
Ah Ma, Gong Gong, Grandma and Grandpa came to see Luke and to share in the excitement of his birth. Everyone wanted to watch him, and they were amazed at everything he did.
Ah Ma, Gong Gong, Grandma and Grandpa smiled at the thought of Luke growing bigger and stronger day by day. Soon, he would be able to recognize all of the people who love him.
Before long, it was time to go home from the hospital. Jane and Ben said goodbye to everyone who had helped them at Mount Alvernia Hospital. They bundled up Luke for his very first trip to the outside world.
Everything was new and exciting for Luke. He saw houses and trees for the very first time. The world was quite an interesting place.
At home, there was a very special room that had been prepared for Luke. His crib was filled with cute, fluffy toys, and there were many other toys that would give Luke hours and hours of fun as he grew.
Mommy loved holding and cuddling little Luke. She talked to him in a soothing, sweet, and loving voice. Sometimes, she even sang little songs as she rocked Luke back and forth.
Mommy and Daddy took Luke everywhere they went. They were very proud of Luke and wanted the whole world to meet their very special little boy.
Since his birth on 12 October 2001, Luke Ang has made the world a much happier place. Luke is truly a very special little person.
